In fact, none of them was able to leave an impact of their acting skills, and they are still better known as high class cricketers instead of bad actors. To continue this discussion, here is a deep inspection of Cricketers who acted in Bollywood films, but failed to impress.

1. Kapil Dev

In the year 2004, the most famous cricketer of Indian team was convinced to take a role in the movie named ‘Aryan’, in which he played himself being interviewed. It was the story of an ex-boxer who turns out to be a TV sports presenter. The film fared miserably on the box office unfortunately. Among the other films in which he acted include ‘Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii’, and Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Priyanka Chopra starrer ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’. His role of team selector in ‘Iqbal’, the debut film of Shreyas Talpade, was still much better and was admired by the audiences.
