All the sweetened beverages are loaded with half of the sugar, and if your diet includes soda drinks, coffee, and energy drinks, then this is where you have to start. Start the process steadily as it will not happen instantly. Try quitting your favorite soda drink or a cup of tea full of sugar that also includes the artificially sweetened. Replace sugary beverages with no-calorie sparkling water. In addition to this, you can also add a flavor by adding lemon, orange or lime to it. If you are tea lover, then try to cut the amount of sugar you add to your tea by half each week until to reach one teaspoon or less.
