Recently, this photo-sharing app has introduced a new feature called ‘Archive,’ which allows you to move your older pics that you have shared earlier to the space .Once you move these pictures to Archive then only you can see these pics. This feature allows anyone on Instagram to hide his or her old posts without deleting them. Apart from usual edit and delete now, in the menu on a photo you will find ‘archive’ option placed at the right on the top. The moment you hit the button your photo move to a private gallery or your archive where only you can view it.
The post that you archive will be visible when one tap the Archive icon at the right corner. Moreover, you won’t lose the likes and comments on your photo, and in case you change your mind about a post you have archived just tap ‘Show on Profile, ’ and your post will show up in its previous place.
With this feature, Instagram is hoping that people will not delete their previous pics and hence feel more comfortable by sharing certain photos. Mostly teenagers are in the habit of deleting pics, which doesn’t gather more likes or comments or later on, realize that some pics are too personal. The archive option will help them sort out their Instagram account.
Archive option not only allows you move your old post to your private gallery but, also doesn’t notify others of your archiving or unarchiving activities. So, you can archive as many posts as you like. You can view the archive items when you hit rewind style button on the top right corner.

This feature gives you a better option to create your Instagram and yet preserving your special moments. When we were teenagers, those pics were great, but as we grow up, our Instagram should revive as well. Update your Instagram to version 10.21 on your iOS and Android phones.
