The Kansas City Public Library is a public library headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. The library was founded in 1873 and is known as one of the oldest public systems in the Kansas City. The architecture of the library is extremely unique to enhance the look of Kansas City, MO. This building is the fascia of the parking garage of the Central library.

If something could make a perfect milieu for a library, it is this – a row of books aligned beautifully like on a shelf with the only difference being the size of these books. The books are 25 feet in height and nine feet in width. The beautiful garage behind the library is built of signboard Mylar.

It was in 2006 when the garage was constructed. The aim was to construct a downtown parking lot for which a unique concept was demanded. What came eventually as a unique idea is here in front of your eyes.

This bookish-looking library has a wide range of study material like news articles, photographs, published materials, post cards and so on.
